This is another new soprano size uke made of solid Macadamia wood for the body. Very nice shimmering highlights and figure to the wood. The neck is old Mango wood with a graphite truss rod. Hardwood fingerboard made of Chechen and rosewood bridge. White plastic dots for the fret markers with white side dots included. Bone nut and compensated saddle. Three black wood rings for the sound hole rosette. Grover brand chrome friction tuners with plastic cream-colored knobs. Clear Fluorocarbon strings. The playing scale is 13 3/4". Nut width is 1 3/8". There are 13 frets to the body, 15 total. Gloss nitro-lacquer finish with a satin smooth feel. Low easy playing action and a very full rich mellow mahogany quality to the sound. I recently bought this same model and it is my go-to 'uke. The Macadamia and Mango are from Hawaii and are 40 years old. Duane is not kidding about the "very full rich mellow mahogany quality to the sound." And the Macadamia has this 3D-thing going on. Don't wait to buy this one.
 
Oh what a sweetie this one is. Folks, don't hesitate. I owned one of these and regret selling it bad. Beautiful tone, so responsive, warm. Had I the cash available it would me mine.
 
Weekend before Christmas bump. I will be building 4 more of these Macadamia wood soprano ukes in the future and then I'm out of this wood. Have a good holiday!
