I think Ohana got it pretty much right with the SK 28. It has a nicely balanced sound and slightly roomier feel than the SK 38. SK 38 has a boomier sound that sometimes seems out of balance to me. Lower profile frets on the SK 28 make for better intonation than on the SK 38 that uses a higher profile fret wire. Small side markers on the SK 28 would help in fret location as the fretboard with all the design is sometimes confusing. All things considered both fine examples of nice factory made instruments and enjoyable to own and play. Good work Ken and Ohana!
