Seeing as the winter is setting in in the UK..I've started up the metal work department of the shed..I've had several requests for more string gauges..so i'm starting on the commision jobs first :D

I have to say these are great tools. I used mine yesterday and it works so well and saves a lot of time. I wasn't sure if I really needed it when I bought it ,but now I don't think I could live with out it. ;)

Used my new string gauge today for the first time. It really is a nice tool.
Made it so easy to figure out the string spacing and check as I started to file slots.
Thanks Ken.

I use a 40mm spacing at the bridge so mine (one of the first made and kindly donated by the always generous Ken) is in constant use. Thanks also for the 6 pointer - it will come in useful when I revisit my travel guitar design that got me on the pathway to building ukulele...

I use mine all the time. And for more than string spacing - these are great, versatile tools. I'm sure the new batch will be snapped up quickly.

Six pointers are now outselling four pointers...I wonder why ?:)

Six pointers are now outselling four pointers...I wonder why ?:)

The word has spread to the world of Guitar Luthery, of the magnificence of the Timm's original six pointed do dah?

Because the Six-pointer is really an "UP TO six pointer". But what do I know, I got one of each :)

Because the Six-pointer is really an "UP TO six pointer".

That's why I got a 6. It includes a 4. :)

Production has stopped !:(.....I'm waiting for parts from Hong Kong and they are saying I've got to wait till after the Chinese New Year is over so that they can post them...I'm told it's the "year of the Horse" ...Last year was the "year of the Snake" those Chinese folks will eat anything;)

Next year is Sheep. I'm always a bit partial to a bit of Mutton ;)
I hope they don't have a 'year of the Uke'!!!

I hope you don't mind, but I put a link to Ken's ebay listing for these over at luthierforum.com. Someone had commented over there that they saw this divider at Rick Turners shop. Knowing who made it, I thought Ken would benefit from the people over there wanting one. Probably should have asked permission, but you know what they say...."better to ask for forgiveness...." :-)

No that's ok with me.....and it has solved a mystery:).....Some months ago I sent one of the first six pointers to Rick Turner...and Rick never received it ???......And now it has been spotted on one of the work benches.....it looks as if it was snaffled by one of Ricks employees before it reached Rick's office:D
