Was watching a cooking show on PBS earlier where they mentioned some new kitchen gadgets they liked.

One was the "Recipe Rock".

It's a little base with a magnet that holds sheets of paper upright. I immediately thought this would be perfect for holding up music on your desk or kitchen table or whatever.

Think I'll order one when the holiday dust settles. :)

It's a cool looking gadget. But realistically a music stand needs to hold books, not just individual pieces of paper, and it needs to hold pages side by side. A real tabletop music stand can be bought for 10 bucks. One of the uke clubs I play with uses them. Most of my sheet music these days is on my computer so my computer screen is my music stand.

Main utility might be for learningnnew stuff where you spend time repeating a difficult section. In those cases, I copy individual pages and work on them one at a time. This should be fine for that.

Thanks itsme. Sometimes I print out sheets from sites like Chordie and this seems like it would work well for that. Looks kinda cool as well.

Won't work for me for ukulele, but I ordered one for the kitchen. Thanx!
