So I got this blue flea off Ebay last week. It has the plastic fret board and bridge. I wasn't happy with the sound, really wanted a wood bridge and fb. but Im cheap! I took a piece of Osage Orange worked it down and slid it above the top of the nut. Filed it till it was just held in place good by the string tension. Put fremont blackline med tension strings on and then I took an old bone saddle and sanded down to about 1/16th by 1/16th I think ( I will measure it if needed. Rounded of all four edges and slid between where the strings attach and the back side of the molded saddle. Remarkably intonation stayed spot on and the sound is crisper clearer and more sustain. If anybody is interested in seeing it, tell me and I'll post pics of the mods. Phil
