Hi
Has any one out there tried Cuban music on Ukulele. I 've played Chan Chan by Compay Segundo an it works nicely. Any feed back will be welcome.

Think you might have posted this in the wrong forum... its place is mostly for the Mod's and such...

I'd move it, but I don't have access to that section. Should be in Uke Talk.

Thank you for moving this thread. Many thanks to Deach about FranSpain.
I'm putting together a song book over the next twelve months. Any contributions would be welcomed.

I can do a passable version of El Mancinero (The Peanut Vendor) which I totally stole from Gerald Ross. If you find Bosko and Honey's Ukulele Safari on Youtube, and check out the one with Gerald, you'll see him playing it. Works well, and I'd love to do more.

La Mancinera

Yep that's a candidate for the song book along with Guatanamera and Chan Chan. Have you written the tab down? Nice happy clever little tune!
Thanks.
