Here are some pix of my "new" Harmony baritone....it didn't look like this when I got it, worked on it for 2 hours, plus put on new strings! I can't play it but I like it, it has a great tone! As near as I can tell, it's a 50's vintage model...not sure????
I think it's circa 1950-1960... If you search Jake Wildwood's blog (http://antebelluminstruments.blogspot.com/) you'll find some similar Harmony and Harmony-built baris in that age range. Those are some great ukes. Congrats! I have a Harmony-built Silvertone bari and it is a sweet player (for a baritone! zing!).
Very nice uke. If you look at my signature, you can tell I'm a bit of a Harmony nut. However, I've always thought the Harmony baritone had the best sound of any baritone I've ever tried. Congrats on the new uke.
Aloha Nickie,
