Solid ebony binding, fingerboard, nut & bridge
Hand carved mahogany neck
3 layer wood rosette around the sound hole
Rope Inlay design on the sides
Top-notch Mele 18 to 1 geared tuners
Non-adjustable truss rod??
This isn't getting much play and I've got another tenor coming in the mail. These are about $650 new.
I've had this tuned both GcCeaa [great for fingerpicking, see youtubes] and gcCeaA [as currently tuned, better for strumming]Including an set of strings, so tune it your way.
This is an older Mele, no logo on the headstock. very nicely grained Mahogany.warm woody sound. a few slight finish cracks and
dings, nothing too noticeable, and kind of a wonky joint on the cutaway binding, see pic. looks worse in the pic. no wood
cracks.some very slight buckle mark on back, and a few slight indentations [capo marks?] on neck. too slight to photo.
Very nice Mele di- cast tuners, some of the best I've used.
$350 shipped UPS ground in gig bag for protection to CONUS , extra for HI or Canada, message me with address.
here is me playing it for a couple of the seasons, sorry for the vocals.
