Hey, it's getting close to the end of 2013. Time to think about the new year, fresh starts, and setting some uke resolutions (goals) for 2014. While I'm not big on New Year's resolutions, goals are good.
What are your uke goals in 2014?
Here's my 2014 uke resolutions (make that 2014 uke goals):
1. I definitely want to be a better finger-style player. So, I resolve to get through at least 2 of the finger-style books I already own. (I won't list all the finger-style books I have tried and didn't get very far, it's too embarrassing.)
2. I will definitely build that CBU and the Stew-Mac kit this year, after I get my wood working area together. I did realize that Habor Freight work tables came in so many pieces.
3. While I would like to say that I won't buy any ukes in 2014, that probably won't happen. So, instead, I will end 2014 with less ukes than I ended up with 2013. Not that I don't like all my ukes, but maybe if I concentrate on playing fewer ukes, then maybe I will be a better player.
Legal disclaimer: All 2014 resolutions are subject to change. :rulez:
