For those interested in books on building ukes.
Luthier John Weissenrieder and Sarah Greenbaum, painter from New York/new luthier are creating an illustrated book on building a uke, and funding it on Kickstarter. In addition to the book, they have some nice awards for different backer levels including original watercolors from the book, ukulele kits, a custom built uke, and even a 2-week course where they teach you how to build your own uke, while you do it ( in Florence).
