The Firefly is lightweight, relatively inexpensive, easy and fun to play. It's loud, less likely to be drowned out by guitars in a campfire sing a long.. I played one at the Aloha festival last summer, really fun to play.

I have a soprano Firefly and I love it, for all of the reasons pinkuke mentioned!
I would like to trade it for the concert necked version someday though.
