SOLD!

I am selling my Kamaka Long Neck Tenor. This was the first one that Hawaiian Music Supply ever received and it got rave reviews. I am the original owner and I love it, but I just bought a new (and expensive) uke and this one has got to go to help pay for the new purchase. It is in excellent condition and has never left my climate controlled home studio. $975 paypal'd and shipped to US contiguous 48 states.

Serial # 122280, dated August 2012. Gorgeous sounding, great sustain. Nice full notes all the way up the fretboard. Best sounding Kamaka tenor I have ever heard or played.

Here is a link to Corey playing it when new (with Kamaka strings):

Here is a link to a crummy iphone video of me playing it last week with Worth Clear strings (you have to turn the volume up):

Please message me with any questions. It will be packed very safely and shipped promptly (with humidifier in case).

Thank you!

Great ukulele. Wow, Corey and you play it well, Steve.

Question: so that's a baritone scale tenor? What length strings does it use? Thanks.

Hey - thanks for the kind comments. The uke uses tenor length strings.

From HMS: >It's a 19" scale. Two inches more than a tenor and an inch less than a baritone scale."
If you use regular tenor strings, won't they be a little tight, since the scale length is closer to a baritone? My Macciferri baritone;s scale was 18.5 inches, and I had to tune it up to A to get the tension right using bari strings.

I don't notice that much difference in string tension between the Kamaka Long Neck tenor and my Ko'olau tenor. Maybe a bit stiffer, but nothing significant.

Update: I added some photos from when the uke was for sale at Hawaiian Music Supply.
