I want to replace the tuners on my old concert Harmony uke (50's early 60s with the white shark fin peg tuners). Even though it's not fancy uke its my go to uke when we perform. It has the old 1/8" shaft tuners. I hate to drill the holes out for a modern tuner but if I have to I'll do it. I have two questions.
1. Has anyone started to make direct replacement tuners for the 1/8 vintage shaft tuners?
2. If I have to drill it out I want to use a light weight peg tuner. What is a good brand of light weight tuners?
