Seeking advice on making videos for students - how, using what? (Reposted from video forum):
Hi all,
I'm preparing for uke courses I'll run in 2014 and for the first time I thought I'd try using a Wordpress blog or site to post up lesson notes, tabs, play-along recordings. and maybe even videos to help the students.
I realise video can be as simple as playing in front of my laptop cam and publishing to youtube but wonder if I can't step up a little from that. For example, how much hassle would it be to learn how to post up chord diagrams? To split screen so I can play a chord backing track and run a picking melody beside it? What software can do these things? Are there features on Windows Movie Maker even for this?
While I churn through this forum I'd really appreciate any tales of your experiences with like projects, or suggestions or directions about any of this.
Cheers!
