Well I just received my 50th birthday gift. A KoAloha concert! This has been my dream uke since really getting into playing a ukulele. I love the sapwood on the front. Struming it for the first time I was just taken back. It has an unbelievable sound. I love finger picking this uke. It's amazing how much easier it is compared to my beginner uke. I got it from HMS and they packed it very well for the trip from Hawaii to Colorado, and it came in perfect condition. My only issue is getting used to friction tuners, but not really a complaint just a different way of tuning.

KoAloha set the standard in my house. I still play my KoAloha concert more than any other uke.

Congrats and that is one fine looking KoAloha.

Congratulations! I have the same model. It's the only ukulele I'd never sell.
 
Sideways, backward, inside out, so what? That's a beautiful uke! Congrats.....my dream is to go to Hawaii and pick one out for me....
