Hi,

As promised here are a couple of examples of my Ukulele builds to date.
They feature all New Zealand native recylcled and sustainably harvested woods. Kauri soundboards, Heart Rimu back and sides, Puriri fretboard and bridge, Rimu/Matai necks and paua shell inlay.
the rosette on the Tenor is a combination of dried kauri leaves and paua shell pieces. The Cuatro soundholes are inspired by the form of an iconic Kauri leaf.

Hope you like them!

Cheers,

Christian.

Nice body shape.

I.m yet to use Kauri but looking forward to getting some.

Very nice work. Great detail with the rosette and peg head inlay.

I have admired that leaf and paua rosette on your website many times. It is so beautiful, as are all of your instruments.

Thanks for the very kind praise guys.
I didn't realise there was a five pic limit, so see (if you are interested) the attached pics of The Kauri Cuatro/Baritone.

Thanks,

Christian.
