So I'm a little new to the uke on MP3, but I've been listening to recorded tracks from Jake Shimabukuro, Kalei Gamiao, etc. and I'm a little dissatisfied. I know producers are trying to spritz up the uke sound and make the songs sound a little more fancy, but I feel as though the uke gets pushed into the background and drowned out by cellos, trumpets, and the sort. It's kinda nice to have songs like that, but I don't think there's enough songs with just uke, you know?
That being said, I would like to download HMS' sound samples of just uke instrumentals (cuz those are the cake - Tommy's Song on the Pepe Romero sounds a lot better to me than the one on Corey's album), but the old program I used to convert YouTube videos into MP3 files has turned obsolete.
Anyone have any thoughts?
