I can't wait to see and play it; I have been waiting almost a year for this!

The photo is much darker at the bottom half than the actual wood, a lighting or exposure issue I imagine. The figure and color are fairly consistent top to bottom on the back of the ukulele.

wow. this wood combo would be my choice for a custom uke. beautiful. You have way more patience than I, I would have to buy an MM used.
 
Gee, I was going to say that consitter............oh well, can't have too many WOW's for a beauty like that. I know it's going to sound at least as good as it looks. Congrats.
 
Congratulations on the new May Moe! I watched as yours was built. It's a beauty. I received my beloved #1203 myrtle tenor in November. It's already raised my playing to a new level. You're going to love it!
