For sale is a Kamaka Keiki soprano which I believe to be made in Japan and to have a mahogany body. It plays and sounds great. It's got a sweet vintage tone with plenty of volume. As seen from the pics, the upper bouts have some wear and there is a well repaired small crack (about 2") to the right of the sound hole. It's pretty hard to see. The other cosmetic issue is that the book matched back pieces separated. They have been glued back together. The end result isn't a beauty but it's smooth and no light is coming through.
