I have an old Montgomery wards Airline brand ukulele. I was told it was made in 1950. If it is worth anything how much would it be worth . It is 100% mahogany. I put new Martin strings on it and is has a crack down the back

You might want to head over to Flea Market Music's "Uke Yak (http://www.fleamarketmusic.com/uke-yak/default.asp)" and post some good pictures of it. Maybe Chuck will know something about it.

Airline wasn't exactly your top of the line instrument, so I wouldn't think it's going to be worth a whole lot.

yeah plus the crack, but I still like it just seems to have something else to be holding a ukulele that was made half a century ago and no know where its been and who's played it. Kinda like its lived a life of its own and you can only wonder.

Instruments with history are really cool.
