When I was in the Marines, I had my "own" helicopter so I was fortunate when it came to storage. I set up a stretcher pretty high up on the bulkhead of the bird and cinched it up so it was well out of the way. This allowed me to carry my guitar with me on deployments. That's all I played at the time.
