Recently, my wife expressed an interest in learning to play the Uke. She liked the look feel and sound of my a Riptide tenor which gave me all the excuse I needed.
I did a little wrestling back and forth, read too many comments and took the plunge.....

My new baby arrived yesterday.

Very pleased with the fit, finish, and playability. Only time will tell how well it holds up but for now....Zippidee Do Da

Very nice! What exactly is acacia koa? I've heard of acacia and I've heard of koa, but I don't remember seeing the two together before. I ask because I have an acacia tenor.
