Trusting sellers on Fleamarketmusic marketplace

So, I was wondering if anyone buying from the Fleamarketmusic Marketplace has been ripped off by someone who didn't pay or deliver the uke.

Just curious to see if it's happened before, or if at all.

I'm kind of iffy about dealing with people online like that..

I have not dealt with anyone on FMM but I have posted a uke on the marketplace there. (I sold it to someone here though) I like to think that it takes a special person to play a ukulele, and for the most part I would trust a ukulele player to do the right thing when buying/selling a uke. In some case they have refrences. You could always ask for some. For the most part though I think alot of the sellers are cool.

I trust FMM members more than other places like Craigslist. All the same, I ask to see pictures of the actual uke before considering buying it. And it's great if they can provide references from Amazon, ebay, or UU to back themselves up.

I have gotten about 5-6 from FFM and sold about that many, no problems to report outside of some shipping delays.

I've probably bought a dozen or so ukes from FMM and never had a problem.
