Looking for an affordable, decent sounding tenor, preferably in the $100-150 price range, nothing fancy
Suggestions on brands is appreciated

Found this Makala at musicguymics ebay store. I personally havent bought anything from him YET but he is highly recommended from alot of members here at UU. With shipping, its under $150.00

That NEW KALA TENOR KA-T from FMM looks pretty good... I have a KA-C and love it

Lanikai LU-21T, $110 + shipping . . . great beginner/starter instrument

I bought mine off of musiciansfriend.com.
It's a lanikai Tenor, and for the price it is awsome.
i bring it everywhere and always get compliments.
I think i payed 100 bucks and got free shipping

I had the LU-21t and it was fine for a while with aquilas. I sold it after about a month because it just sounded a little thin to me. My wife's flea was putting it to shame (sad but true).

If you can save a couple more bucks and get a solid Kala I would do that. Just my opinion.
