Did a 4 day course at North House Folk School in Grand Marais, MN on building ukuleles. Taught by Dave Seaton www.seatonguitars.com

Lots of fun and learned a bunch.

Top is red spruce, back and sides are birch, neck and fretboard maple.

I used a lot of birch when I was learning to build. Its pretty much a twin to hard maple. I liked working with it, but it was a tough sell. Nice job on your uke!
