Got this Queno G tuned solid mahogany flute on ebay for an awesome price. I'ts going to take some finesse to get it to sound good. Hope I can learn it. Lots of great tutorials on YouTube...not much else out there.

Nope...I have a whole fleet of tin whistles though....

I had a quena years ago and lost it. My wife gave me one for Christmas this year and I can't find it. What is the deal?

There is a bag somewhere in the house with a few Christmas presents for me. I think the dog hid it.

If I end up not enjoying blowing into this sucker, I'm hoping I can install a tenor sax mouthpiece. Also, I have somewhat small fingers for a guy and covering all those large holes (pretty well spaced out) is hard. A real "impulse buy"

The notch is supposed to be easier to play than a kaval or ney, which are just an open ended tube that you have to manage the embouchure on. It is doable, but not that easy at all and indeed, like most things in music, a trick.
