Received my new Ohana soprano from Mim. I like the overall look of the uke. The set-up is great with no buzz anywhere on the neck and the action is nice. Definitely a difference in sound quality between the Ohana and the Mainland. The Ohana is more plinky where the Mainland has a more full mellow sound. Some of the difference may be soprano vs concert and/or laminate vs mahogany, but I don't have enough experience with ukuleles to know. The Ohana will be great for practicing fundamentals when I have some time at work.
