I need to change out those black strings that came with this guy. What are you all using on yours??? Can you tell me why you choose them?

I was going to put Aquilas on mine (you know the Aquilas usually best for all laminate ukes, etc.) but I may go with low G Fremont Blacks
I've got Aquilas, but with a wound low G.

Aquilla Red Series....suggest you watch video on Aquilla web site re tightening outside nut slots....

It sounds like many prefer the low G for this concert sized electric. Why?

I also have Aquila's on mine (high G), which I actually got of my Ohana (they where factury delivered on that one, but I prefer Martins for that Uke) so I'm not really sure which ones they are. Before that I had D'Addario T2's on it. I like the Aquila's much better on the Les Paul then the D'Addario's.
In my case that's easy. I play in a blues band and the bassier "G" comes in handy.
Same here....bluesy uke, bluesy strings.

That makes sense. I think I'll consider a low G.
