How about leaving out the phrase 'it relieves boredom'? I'd buy a couple if they just said: Let's play Ukulele or even more simply, 'Ukulele'.

that will do. i can make a new frame for that, Fretie. It's your choice "Let's play Ukulele or just "Ukulele" only.

Or if you wanted it to look even more like the Coke logo it could be "Enjoy" ukulele.

Could you do white lettering on a red shirt.
Of you can then I'm definitely in

I think that would be the ticket, white print on a red shirt or red print on a white shirt. "Enjoy" in small print above the word "Ukulele" with your curvy design thing and nothing else.

Count me in as well. I'd get one in each color, XL or larger...

Just curious. Doesn't using the word Coke infinge on the soft drink trade mark?

I'm guessing yes if you were to use the term to advertise and sell a product. No as a thread title.

Hello my Ukulele family, I have this screenshot from https://www.phlpost.gov.ph/ for international rates. 3 to 4 shirts good for 1 kg.

Is that currency shown PHP or 'Phillipine Peso'?

If so, I have found the exchange rate from xe.com (http://www.xe.com/), for the following:

1.853 PHP = 0.0414194 USD = 0.0162134 EUR = 0.0133657 GBP = 0.0250321 AUD = 0.0247227 CAD

I dont know if I am reading this right, but does this mean that regardless of currency, it's like less than 1 Dollar/Euro/Pound for shipping?

Also what is the shipping time? I have bought things (ebay) from China and Japan that offer FREE shipping but takes 30 days to arrive in the USA.

this is the correct one; 1 USD = 44.67 Philippine Peso

it should this way, for 1 Kg, PHP 1853 divided by PHP 44.67 (1USD) = 41.48 USD for the shipping fee :(:(:( (I won't expect any orders:()

Something is not right. 1Kg = 1L, no? (correct me if I'm wrong - no sleep)

so you are telling me it's going to cost $45 to ship basically a 1 litre bottle from Phillipines to USA?

If so, somebody in that post office needs to be taken out back and beaten with a rubber hose.

Is there something like a 500% export tax added to all items sent out of the country?

In all seriousness, (W)hiskey (T)ango (F)oxtrot???

I feel stupid right now and need help to understand.

sierrachello-

maybe you should create an account with CafePress or one of the similar sites, and then all you have to do is upload your artwork, and let them do the printing and shipping from USA.

The shirts might cost a few dollars more, but the shipping is also within reason (like $2-3 for up to 3 shirts), just make sure that you Copyright your art before you upload it.

Another advantage to CafePress is that you can have your artwork on more products like hats, coffee mugs, mousepads, etc and let them handle all the e-commerce parts as well as inventory, printing, shipping, etc...and you do not have to bear the materials cost nor float the inventory, and they do everything made-to-order...

Not to throw a monkey wrench into the works, but the Coca Cola Company fiercely protects its copyrights and logos. This tshirt artwork is clearly a take-off on their design. I think that if you were to try to market them through Café Press, or any other stateside entity, Coca Cola would have lawyers knocking at the door....

I believe the Coca Cola company has a world wide pattern on their design and if you should try to market this design, you might loose your shirt, in more than one way. You will probably first receive a cease and desist letter. If CafePress sees this design, they will probably tell you the same thing.

Actually, I am surprised the boys here on UU are even allowing this.

You go to any swap meet, they have trademark infringements all the time, especially at the Aloha Stadium!
