I have a custom ML tenor that Jerry built for me a couple of years ago. It is my heaviest uke, but one of the best sounding with excellent volume and sustain. I really like the larger body and have since ordered another tenor uke with a larger body and like that one as well(Moodyville).
It took a couple of string changes to find the right combination for me. It came to me re-entrant with Worth clears. I tried Worth browns, but settled on my favorites, Savarez Alliance with a wound low G.
I would give working with Jerry a grade of B. Ultimately he produced a beautifully crafted and wonderful sounding ukulele, but communication was lacking at times.
