Hi,

Just wondering where people have found is the best place to buy good carbide downcut router bits for inlay work???

Mostly for dremel use, so 1/8" shank.

Thanks in advance,

beau

I use "end mills" and get them from a variety of places over the years. ENCO might be the least expensive at around $6 per last time I got them, those being 1/32" though the price is hardly different for 1/16 and 1/8. They are also available in increments of .005 so I have some .050 and .055 for inlaying back strip material I custom make. StewMac might be the most expensive. Macmaster-Carr might have the widest variety.

Aaron is da guy. See if he'll sell you a couple of his dust flags too. Or at least the plans to make some.

Man, we really gotta get something going with the flags. I was working on some plastic and wood versions, and realized, the original design is the most cost effective, and actually works better.
