My new ohana ck28 needed a lot of help. The binding kept snagging my clothes and the finish was rough so if anyone has the same problem, here is what I did. 400g sandpaper 4/0 steel wool. Sanded lightly over all except where really rough then steel wool. Be careful not too hard or stain will come off then guitar polish. Had to super glue binding spot where they joined. Freemont black lines next and I must say the sound is fantastic for the price. Can't put it down.just an FYI

I bought one too and I must say it's a very well built uke. Intonation is spot on and the sound very well balanced. It surprised me how light it was. I would love to see a picture of your polished ck28. The fretboard seems a little dry/pale, i wonder if it's ok to give it a few drops of oil.
