semi-acoustic steel string?

The Kamoa evolve is still being built, by custom order only. A large group of us just ordered some directly from the maker (no evolve label) and they should start arriving soon. The Risa LP is about the same price as the Kamoa and available. Used ones pop up from time to time. I think about buying a Risa LP because they seem to be great instruments and for me easy to get cause they are produced in Germany, but they are not hollow body.
I find it very difficult to find information on how to buy a Evolve from the thread cause it's sooo long ;-)
Anyway I already sent a mail to Kamoa sales inquiring about the Evolve, perhaps they respond.

The group order was placed directly through the east-start web site. They don't carry the Evolve branding but appear to be from the identical manufacturer.
