Can anybody share tips / best practices for packing Ukes to ship to new homes? My two first loves have new homes elsewhere in SoCal so I don't need to worry about temperature insulation.

Thanks, Eddie

In an ideal world I prefer bubble wrap and peanuts with the box inside a box method.

I've received most of my ukes by mail. They were in their original manufacturer box, then in another box padded with either bubble wrap, crumpled heavy paper or cardboard, and tightly taped all over the outside. None were damaged in any way.

Super helpful article, SailingUke. I would have loosened the strings because intuitively I thought that made sense.

Check the weather as well. There were some worrying moments for me when my ukulele was in transit during the prolonged cold spell in much of the U.S in January of this year.
