An exciting NUD is in the works for me, so it's time to re-home this Pono MB.

Basic Specs:

Mahogany top, back, and sides
Rosewood fretboard, bridge, and headplate
Bone nut and saddle
Rope rosette
Geared tuners
Satin finish

If you like understated and classy, then this is it.

This uke has made me love playing the baritone -- this from a guy who once complained about the scale length of tenors. Part of it is the tone, which is that traditionally mellow mahogany, and part of it is the set-up. I am not exaggerating: the set-up is as close to perfect as I've known. It's soooo easy to play.

As far as tuning is concerned, I think it plays well with either high or low G. Here are some samples: https://soundcloud.com/user92796094/pono-mb-southcoast-dgbe https://soundcloud.com/user92796094/pono-mb-guadalupe-dgbe

It's currently strung with the linear Gadalupes, which are all wound strings, and have lost a lot of the squeak you can hear in the sample.

True, it's a second (it's got the 2 on the label), but I couldn't find the blemish. Of course, I did put a nick into the edge (just below the waist -- see subsequent pics), so it's a proper blem now.

This is a great bari -- I'm almost certain I'll miss it.

$250 gets this shipped to your door (CONUS). I'm also willing to include a 72 hour trial period for anyone on the fence. (Buyer pays return shipping.)

Any questions, give me a shout. Thanks!
