need suggestions for a thin waterproof strap for OU

I'm on the hunt for a thin, as in not bulky, waterproof strap for my friend to use on her outdoor uke. Any suggestions?

(She'll probaby be getting a new outdoor uke, 'cause I'm not sure I can round up the clear soprano that she wants to buy used, with the strap button already installed by the OU guys....one of the benefits of buying new, I guess.)

Yeah, get a "leash" and get the leather strap button connection to make it a full strap. They work great imo.

Lori at Uke Leash sells guitar-style straps that are polypro, which is waterproof. The straps are not bulky--mine stays attached to my ukulele and fits into the case easily. Depending on the style you choose, there would be 1 or 2 leather end pieces for strap button(s). The leather is quite thick and I'm guessing it would stand up to water well unless your friend is planning to take the uke swimming on a regular basis.
