Been playing ukulele for a year now...and am trying to play more.
Love to find lyrics and chords to songs online and strum and sing.
I am working on some picking.
Bought a Hula uke, Tenor...now want to upgrade with a
$500 budget. Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum dude, haven't spent that much (in £'s anyway!) on a uke yet, but from looking at these pages for the last few months, there are plenty of dudes that have!

Suggest you go to Maui Ukulele ...just before Wailuku town on highway from Kahului. Plenty of Ukes to play and good advice. Also Bounty Music in Kahalui for a wider selection of Ukes-- spend some time playing Ukes in both.
