14.5 scale soprano or concert?/

Ijust got to play a friends uke, that said concert , but seemed smaller and sweeter than my concert. I measured the scale and it was 14.5. my concert being 15.25.

do you know of anybody that is making a 14.5 scale, not custom a mass produced.

My Cordoba 20CM is about 14.75 --- perhaps closer to 14.8. So it's not quite down to the 14.5 that you're looking for, but it's closer than your current concert.

thanks,, I just saw a pic of a Kala sop. with 14.75 , , but it has just about the same body dim. as a sop. Im really trying to replace my sop. flea,,, but with a more trad. look.

Listed scale length for a concert is 15"
My OU5 - 14 3/4"
Pono 14 7/8"
Lehua Concert necked soprano 15 1/4"

I have to wonder what the scale length in on a 12 fret concert such as Boat Paddle.

check Ko'olau, I think their concerts are fairly short-scaled

A little shorter than you're looking for, but the Flea soprano has an unusually long scale length for a soprano--14 inches.
