Ok, so I bought my son (9) a uke. It's a Lanikai concert series. I have played guitar for 30 yrs. A month after I purchased his uke, my friend runs a auction house and he had a Johnny Marvin tenor uke I bought for 100$ with the case. How do I find the year this was made? By the way it sounds fantastic!! I need more info on this uke.

I don't know anything about vintage ukes, but I wanted to say that it is very nice looking and welcome to UU!

It's looks like a soprano uke, 21"? A tenor is about 27" Not sure how some of the makers labeled them. There are some Tenors called "Concert'" ukes, etc. I know many of them were made by Harmony. Note the decal on the headstock. Some Johnny Marvins have an embossed metal emblem on the headstock. lots of info here: https://www.google.com/#q=johnny+marvin+ukulele. You can probably spot your exact model on Google images.
