I found this kit at a flea market for $6 knowing I would not build it haha well I actually built it can't wait to put the aquila strings I got for it I used a golden mahogany stain took a few days to build I added mother of pearl inlays on the fret board and on the bridge.

great find!! Id like to run on a deal like this, was building it harder or easier than you imagined? I thought of trying one my self, but fretted inst. builds scare me. Ive only done one a mountain dulcimer, and it was so so

congrats on your build

nice find! everyone needs a few toys to play with now and again! Pretty funny you are buying a ukulele to go with a set of strings.

Great find, looks like you did a great job from the pics. I have one of those. Building it is on my "to do list." (I have a great many things on that list) LOL

Nice job,

I have put together a couple of those kits. I gave a kit to a relative who tuned it D, G, B, F (basically sopranino tuning). It sounds much better than the ones I made in standard re-entrant tuning.
