I use lemon oil for untreated fretboards. If you have a gloss finish a microfiber cloth should do the job. I'm not quite sure what to use if you have a matte varnished uke.

Maybe this was a stupid noobie question, but I could really use some advice on this. Thanks

Usually just a microfiber cloth.

If it's really dirty:
Naphtha (Zippo lighter fluid) does a good job on a lot of finishes. Just make sure you wipe it all off.

Most often, I'll just use a little saliva. (Yes it's gross, but does a great job and won't hurt your finish)

Edit: I like to use lemon oil on my fretboard too. But only if they are really dry. Too often and you can loosen frets..
