D'addario J71 vs. ORCAS OS-TEN

For those curious about the new ORCAS strings from Japan, I made a comparison video to D'addario Pro Arté J71 strings.

Thanks for the comparison. I agree with you that I can hardley tell a difference between the two. But if they are thinner and easier to play then it might be worth looking into.

I play the J71's on my tenor G-String. Your comparision, to my ears, has the ORCAS strings a bit more mellon. The J71's cut through a bit more. So, totally a tonal preference to the player's ears. Both sound fine though....e.lo...
