Hi,

I decided that maybe I should be sharing some of my experiences as I move through the world of beginner ukulele-ist.
There are a lot of blogs, websites, forums and Facebook pages by people who are so good they leave me depressed and wondering if I will ever get "really good". So I decided to try blogging about my experiences as a beginner, including my mistakes and UAS-motivated buying errors. But I can't pay Facebook the $10/day that they demand in order to "promote" my Facebook page. So I decided that maybe I should just rely on the essential kindness of ukulele lovers to help give my site some visibility. So if you are "feeling kind" could you please click on my url: https://www.facebook.com/UkeLadyWorld and "Like" my page? I try to keep the "reviews" short, self-deprecating, and ironic, if not amusing, while offering some real first-hand information from the beginners perspective. UkeLady will also be having a drawing for a cool uke-oriented gift when we reach 100 Likes, and each milestone thereafter. Thanks for helping!

Thanks Fretie, I'm writing it from a beginners perspective but there's plenty of stuff of interest to everyone, particularly those afflicted with UAS :-) At 150 Likes we are giving away a free basswood soprano ukulele; the first 100 to Like UkeLady will automatically receive 2 entries to win the uke in order to reward them for their early support.
