I posted this in "General" yesterday and realized this morning this is where it probably should be.
I was recently asked by an elderly friend if I could help her find out if there would be any interest in an old Uke she had. I play some mandolin and have built a couple of the same but don't know for ukulele's. Honestly, I didn't know ukulele's were so hot. Below is a link to several pictures I've taken. Looking forward to hearing any comments regarding Weissenborn as well. Thanks---

I had no idea Weissenborn made ukes! I don't know if you know anything about them, but essentially, if you play lap steel on an acoustic, it's either a resonator (a National or a Dobro), or it's a Weissenborn. The guitars had big fat hollow necks (they were designed entirely to be played lapstyle, and the neck cavity was to add more resonance), and these days, they're worth a pile of money. Ben Harper plays one, amongst others, and lots of people make copies.
