Stu-Mac is a great company, I love them, and they often have products re-branded so they can sell in the "specialty" market. I've found several examples of "specialty" luthier tools that are re-purposed from tools that were produced and marketed for other purposes. I remember posting on MIMF many years ago and having one of the responders saying that it would most likely be appearing in the next Stu-Mac catalog.

Beau- I have used Transtint for a long time as a banjo stain. It's good stuff and the price is right.
