Hi,
First post, so don't flame me for what is probably a common question that I couldn't find an answer to using the search feature.
I am looking at buying a tenor uke. Either the Pono ATD or MTD.
I am trying to figure out the sound differences and which one seems to be liked more.
I have to say, I like the look of the Acacia more, but I play hog guitars (D-18 and a custom 00-15). I know Mahogany guitars are often described as more woody and have less overtones than their Rosewood counter part, but I really have no clue about Acacia.
If you could describe the sound of the two woods, how would you describe them?
Thanks,
Sully
