Using UU+ IPad Ap Off-line

Whenever I have tried to use my IPad ap for UU+ off-line I get an "updating data..." Message and I can't start any lessons. Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution? Here's a screen capture.

I am a technological nit wit, however as long as I have the lesson open I may use it but I may not open a different lesson. Hope I am talking about the same thing. I just went off line and tested again to be sure I am accurate.

You can upload videos on to your iPad, and play those videos. I have done it before. It does necessitate using up some memory, but it worked fine that way for me. I haven't had your particular issue playing the loaded videos.

I've already downloaded several videos already. The screen I captured above comes up as soon as I open the UU+ Ap. It does this as well when I'm on wifi but soon finishes the updating and I can open the videos. If I'm not on wifi I can't get past this point to open any downloaded content.
