Turning your Mahalos into Martins

Hi,

This page here http://ukulelehunt.com/buyaukulele/ukulelestrings/aquila mentions an article by Woodshed on "Turning your Mahalos into Martins" but i can't find it anywhere.

Does anyone know where it is? Or have their own tips on how to get a good sound out of a cheap uke (more specifically, a mahalo)?

Note : This is for the old style with friction tuners, the new type with the ears and compensated saddle I wouldn't recomment turning the saddle around.

I've found that the new versions have exteremly poor intonation and require lots of adjustment at both the nut and the saddle. I did two just before Christmas and they are now very acceptable, prior to which they were almost unplayable.

It's not specifically about Mahalos. It's supposed be a play on 'Making mountains out of mole hills'. But I don't think anyone got the reference.
