I've tried the WMM2.6 PIP extras and they're pretty rubbish and the audio/video quality once it's mangled my vid is depressing.

Does anyone know of any freebie alternatives? I've got a rough cut version of what my entry for this season could have been and it's looking pretty shoddy because of that and it's really bumming me out.. I was proud of the performances until I tried to overlay the bits. (That said the audio on the bulk of the vid was subpar now I've looked back. And the overlayed bit I can't do I'ma just stick on the end)

Is there a good, free way of doing video in video?

Chris,

I am not a video guy, but I have heard other people talk about WMM as a good starting point. Maybe you just need more practice with it.
Here is one site's set of recommendations for the 9 best video freeware programs, WWM is on the list:9 best free video software programs
