Well, if you want to stick with Mahogany ukes, then I'd say Collings, Kiwaya, or luthier- built.

I had already thought that it would come down to a choice of two, the Ohana SK-21 or the Kala Pocket. I'm leaning towards the Ohana but I'm not sure if the 'out-of-the-box' quality is the same as the Kala. Also if I got the Ohana I'd really like the fitted hard case that I cannot find for sale anywhere in the UK. Decisions, decisions ......
